One of three panels originally made by Keith New for the East window of St Stephen's Walbrook in London.
This Panel (along with NTN L3-3) was one of three which together depicted Christ surrounded by the instruments of his Passion. In this window it is possible to distinguish Christs' outstretched arm and Mary kneeling at the cross.
John Hayward was commissioned to make three panels to complement Keith New's work . Hayward's windows were designed to reflect both the colours and rectilinear form of New's work and adopted the theme "The Mystery of the Incarnation"
All six panels are displayed in the North Wall of the North transept. They are located as follows on the cathedral plan:
Keith New windows: NTN L-3-1, L-3-2, L-3-3
John Hayward windows: NTN L-2-1,L-2-2,L2-3
