This c1909 window is believed to have been made by Powell & sonsof Whitefriars. It is amemorial to William Lefroy, Dean of the Cathedral from1889 to 1909.
The angels in the tracery lights bear the names of the churches to which St Paul addressed letters.
The main centre panel depicts St. Paul preaching on the Areopagus in Athens whilst beneath a scroll declares: 'Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship Him declare I unto you'.
To the left are figures representing St. Luke and St. Mark whilst below is St. Paul's farewell at Ephesus and a scroll stating : 'I commend you to God and to the word of his grace'
To the right are figures of St. Barnabas and St. Timothy whilst below a scene depicts St. Paul dictating and a scroll states : 'I charge thee therefore before God, preach the word.'
