The window was designed in 1951 it is made up of glass some of which dates from 16th century. In particular in the lower section :
- The top left & the bottom right of the larger panels were previously located in the church of SS Simon & Jude. They depict the arms of Francis Bacon & William Cecil Lord Burleigh.
- Other glass is from the deanery & include the arms of Bishop Parkhurst (1560 - 75), Dean Gardiner (1573 - 1589) & Dean Suckling (1614 - 28)
